Where to stay:
Sun is shining and you look out your window to big swells, crashing waves and a stretch of white sandy beach.
Ravesis Hotel:
Ravesi’s Hotel – Bondi Beach from +61 Collective on Vimeo.
Directly across from Ravesis, you will see Icebergs Restaurant, with the Club’s breathtaking pool below which sits right on top of the ocean. Start your day with a walk or run along the Ocean’s edge, the Bondi to Bronte Run, a favorite activity for locals and tourists.
Tired of surfing, running, tanning…then do what Aussies do best, DRINK! There is no shortage of bars along the strip and the hotel is also home to one of the hottest bars in Bondi Beach, with live entertainment throughout the week and the perfect spot for a cocktail and people watching.
Ready to watch the sunset, head to North Bondi Italian, the best spot on a Sunday afternoon. Great food, great people, great vibes…be sure to try the famous number 8 cocktail, camparis with pink grape fruit juice.
Now it’s getting late and you’re a bit tipsy, plenty of options and no need to catch a cab, when you can just walk! The Beach Road Hotel is a local hang out and attracts everyone from the American backpacker to the Swedish Exchange Student to the yuppie local. The downstairs area is similar to the traditional surf clubs with pub type fare, outdoor beer gardens and the upstairs has a live venue for shows every week along with a restaurant. Often people will call it the “Bondi Bubble,” one visit and you’ll soon see why, there’s definitely something for everyone and too many reasons not to leave!
